My whirlpool impeller washer WTW5000DW1 gets to the spin cycle drains then it clicks, then the impeller will spin fast and stop a few times but the drum doesnt and the spin cycle never engages. Please help.
Thank you all for the help and tips. We removed the wash plate and checked the hub assembly. It was worn out smooth. So it ended up being the hub. New issue, although it is spinning now, when washing it makes a ticking sound when the wash plate and basket turn. It’s working for now though.
Hi @staceysa , There may be a problem with the washer drive pulley, part #9 Gearcase, Motor and Pump parts
Have you checked the belt, pulley and carbon brushes?
