I bought a cheap charger and was plugging my phone up to charge, however with the charger I have, I have to usually position my phone a certain way so it can charge correctly. I picked up my phone to use it having forgotten that it was on this stupid charger. As I set it down to charge again my screen went completely black. I freaked out and ended up searching how to fix an unresponsive black screen on my phone. I stumbled upon a video on Youtube that showed a guy prying up his screen, propping off the sensor cable, digitizer cable, LCD cable, etc and putting it back. Of course, his phone returned to normal. After seeing the video, I figured I tried doing the same thing considering I had all the tools this guy in the video was using. I did the same procedure as the guy in the video and still my phone did not turn on. After almost losing hope, I went on a forum rather than Youtube a second time and saw things that said “hold down the home and power button for 20 sec”, so I tried it and it worked. My phone turned on but I noticed the screen looked weird and blocky and had a bunch of lines. The home button and power button works, just the touch isn’t working. I tried putting in my passcode and it doesn’t work. I can’t pull up my camera nor respond to text messages. Can someone please help me and tell me if there is a way to fix this?
