This phone pairs (blue tooth) successfully with all the blue tooth devices I have tried excepting the 2013 GMC Sierra. I know I have followed all the steps correctly and the blue tooth menu on the phone shows the two have successfully paired. But there is no communication between the phone and the truck radio. I had no problems with other phones. Does anyone know if I have a defective phone or a software issue. Thanks for your response
Hi, Have you tried deleting the ‘pairing’ from both the phone and the radio (if the phone is listed there) and trying to re-pair (no pun intended) it again? Also this is from the owner’s manual: The system may not work with all cell phones. Searching on the internet indicates that there is no firmware updates available and that the firmware in the radio is not upgradeable. My commiserations. I have the same problem with my ZTE phone and Subaru Forester. They are also not compatible. The phone works with other cars and the car works with other phones but just not with each other.
