My Iphone 3GS ear speakers, proximity sensor and work fine but I can’t hear anything from the earpiece. I already tried to seated the connector #3 correctly but the earpiece still not working. :( What I can do now to fix it? Thank you so much for any help!
super N, since you already tried to fix the obvious, it might just be time to replace the earpiece speaker. You can get it from places like this. You can find the guide for the repair on here. Hope this helps, good luck.
Could also be the ribbon! try replacing that first. Sometimes the prox works while the ear piece doesnt, and it is due to the ribbon. It is rare for the ear piece to just go bad. iPhone 3GS Proximity Sensor Ribbon Replacement
