I have a kitchenaid KRMF7065ESS01 It has been operating intermittently for a while. there is an audible click at roughly 2 sec interval from time to time when it is not working. When it is doing this, nothing is working, not the lights, not the door water/ice, etc. I can sometimes get it back by power cycling w the breaker, but seems to be having these episodes one or twice a week for several hours. The unit is 3 years old. Help me…..

Grant, the clicking is not good. The compressor is either pulling too many amps and the relay is cutting it off or it’s overheated and the relay icutting it off. Is the compress hot to touch? If you have an amp probe you could check the amp draw and know for sure. That would be the only way to diagnose the compressor. If the amps were good than the relay is bad. If amps to high compressor failed.

Hi @grant52, Not having any lights is a good indicator that there is a problem with the power. Are there any lights on the main control board when the fridge is “dead”? is the clicking sound coming from a relay on the board? Be safety aware when checking as there may be lethal voltage on the board
