The view finder on my Leica V-Lux shattered when it fell to the floor. the camera still shoots wonderfully, but I can only see a portion of my subject when shooting. Can the view finder be replaced?
James Stewart the only way would be by checking where the damage has occured. Post some good images of what your viewfinder looks like etc. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. It will allow us to see what you see. Since you see your objects partially you will have to see if anything/what is obstructing the electronic view finder (possibly a dislodged filter etc.). The Leica V-Lux 3 is an almost exact clone of the Panasonic DMC-FZ150 It only has minor outside cosmetic difference but function etc. is the same. Service manuals for the Panasonic are widely available and should help you further.
