So my friend gave me her iphone XS as a gift. It dropped like a month ago and worked fine after the repair. It was reported dropped again maybe a week or 2 before it started doing this. The iphone will bootloop at the apple logo going on and off when plugged into a wall, and will shut off instantly when unplugged. it will also not power up when connected to a laptop or on its own. I can get it to DFU mode when its in the wall, but when I go to plug it into my laptop it shuts off, unless i plug it back in, which will start that bootloop. Please help as i dont wanna shuffle out more cash for a phone. Thanks
Start by trying a new battery. Also try putting it into dfu whilst attached to the computer. Also whilst you have it open disconnect the top speaker ribbon connection and try powering it on.
