Hi, I had a situation with my MBP 2017 nTB. I’m trying to replace the screen. However I sent my MBP to a bad technical services and they removed the protective tape from the SSD area and the DRAM area. It’s ok if I leave the SSD & DRAM area without this protective tape? What do you recommend? It’s easy to get this tape? Where I can find it? What is the generic name? Again thanks for your help. I really appreciate an answer about this!!!
Scotch tape works in a pinch but if not in a rush better go for yellow kapton tape as it’s thin and is very good for preventing shorts. Polyimide Tape
