The speakers on my son’s nabi 2 are blown. It sounds awful. Working great otherwise. Would love to fix it. Can’t seem to speak with anyone at nabi. Any advice?
Hi, First did you prove that the speakers are faulty by plugging in headphones/earphones into the 3.5mm socket? If the sound is also “awful” it is not the speakers that are faulty. It will be the audio section on the mainboard. Here are two links to show you how to open the Nabi 2, so that you can get to the speakers or the mainboard if you wish. Even though this one is about a different problem it shows in the picture at Step 3. the unit open and I believe that you can see, what I believe to be the speakers - top of the picture -white plastic unit with the red and black wires going into it is one, the other is down the other end.
