There is a black dot on the upper right of the screen. were to fix it? or is it better to get a new one. Thanks for the help
George Wille okay, you figured out it needs a new LCD display. Depending on your model it is relatively easy and quick to fix those. I would repair the screen instead of replacing the GPS. Let us know what model your Garmin is and let’s see what we can figure out. UPDATE 8/7/2018 George Wille okay so the LCD is available but darn it is expensive. Common price seems to be around $90 USD. To get to it is looks like you start by removing the 8 screws from the back and remove teh batteries. That should gain you access. Once you remove those, post some good images of what you are then looking at. It will help if we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.
