Chosen Solution
My iPhone 6 had a replacement screen when I bought it. It worked well for a year, but the screen stopped working in the bottom right corner. Now, the right half of the screen does not respond to touch. I could buy a new screen from ifixit, but am not sure if the fault is the screen or other components.
The original screen was probably broken and was replaced with a cheap knockoff, which quickly failed. The screen is almost certainly the problem, and I would recommend replacing it with one from iFixit.
