Do we need something like a JC PRO1000S when we are changing the screen and the battery?? Can we just replace the broken parts without having to read/burn or whatever he was doing in the video I saw? I am very new to this and am hoping to learn so I can finally own my first ever iPhone of my own but I have no clue what I’m doing and would love assistance.

Hi there, When replacing the screen on an iphone 2 - iphone 7 plus you do not need a programmer. On an iphone 8 and up the true tone won’t work without reprogramming. Changing the battery isn’t an issue, however, on newer iphones you get a warning message saying the battery isn’t original ( displayed for original batteries also)
