I bought a 6s plus, and it will randomly try to shut itself off……any suggestions? Update (07/20/2019) I also meant to add that I did replace the battery, and it goes to the actual power off screen, where you would swipe to power it off or hit the X to cancel. It doesn’t actually power off. My apologies to anyone who answered, I am new and didn’t realize people actually helped, I will definitely be using this more often, as I have been teaching myself everything since I started, when iPhones were first invented.
If the phone is working with random shut downs it usually is a bad battery on this one. Try getting it replaced and see how it goes.
Maybe a worn out battery, check the info you can get from settings/battery, if it’s in a bad state you would see a low capacity percentage and a service battery notice.
All other answers are good too, I would suggest to check if your case is holding down the power button. I’ve experienced this issue on an android phone in the past.
