The microphone doesn’t work, loudspeaker does work. What am I overlooking?
Hi @jewtrw , Is the phone in a case at all? If so, remove it from the case and check if you can be heard OK when on a call. If not, try using a strong light and a magnifying glass to visually check if the voice inlet hole on the bottom edge of the phone is blocked with lint or other debris. If it is (or if you’re not sure) use a vacuum cleaner to try and clear it. Do not use a metal pin or probe to try and clear it as you may damage any components that may be directly behind the hole. If it still fails to work properly, there may be a problem with the phone’s microphone. The phone will have to be open and further inspected to find out what the problem is.
