This is a similar retractable key fob to yours. If you open the fob and look at the side does yours have a roll pin in a machined hole on the side like mine? If so yours has probably come loose and been lost or something. May need to go to the dealer to get a suitable replacement. They might even install it for you. Probably can press it into place with some needle nose pliers I expect.
