Dear all, I recently have a problem with my iPod touch. The home button is somehow lodged and is stuck and cannot be pressed down. I have seen from other websites about blowing into the sync port and also using rubbing alcohol. I have tried the methods but to no avail. However, the button can be turned around, which is certainly unusual. Would someone please help? Thanks.
Sounds like the screen has been replaced before, and the home button hasn’t been secured properly. If you have taken it somewhere before, and it is under warranty, I would recommend taking it back. Otherwise, you will need to remove the screen, and secure the home button (usually there is a rubber gasket, or thin tape can be used).
