Chosen Solution
After an iFixit battery replacement for an iphone 6, the front facing camera no longer works. The battery replacement was uneventful. I did have to disconnect the screen (as per instructions) to remove the battery. Used the spudger to reconnect the ribbon cables. Didn’t see anything loose at the cable connections. Any way to troubleshoot this?
Ok, so you’ve either not connected the cable properly, or damaged the cable, or you’ve damaged the socket. Also, check that back camera cable, make sure that’s in there good too. Come back if you have any more questions
