Hi my name is big black 52 I have a 2002 Honda Accord I put a new computer in now the engine will not turn over can anyone help
If the engine does not turn over at all its not the security being on . the security would allow the engine to crank but not fire. This sounds like a grounding issue. check your grounds at the battery , to the motor, to the body . Also wouldn’t hurt to check the solenoid . However LPfaff is right in that once the car will crank I may not start because of the Honda security system . It will need to be programed to accept the chip in the key
@bigblack52 , Anthony, Is your security on, If you put the computer in the car yourself, chances are you may have to take it into the dealer to have computer/ ECU flashed / programmed to your vehicle. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
