When plugged it no longer show any light and after a few minutes the box starts getting very warm under. Particularly under the CPU location. Can it be fixed or replaced?
@remalab , oluremi alabi The process or appears to be soldered to the mother board(1st link) and with this device selling for $39.00(2nd link) or less probably would not be cost effective even if you could find replacement CPU, as it would take proffesional to install. Android boxes do not have modular CPUs, meaning from an average End User, No, the CPU can not be replaced, however, a Technician well versed in SMT work, can replace them. repairs of this standing are VERY expensive, and usually run more than most android boxes.
Yes, repairs are expensive. It is better to buy new tvbox. For example, MXQ Pro. I am using it now.
