Chosen Solution
I was replacing charging port on an iPhone 6 and I connected the new port and tested it before installing and when it turned on it said it needs to cool down. The phone isn’t hot and this is always on and won’t go away. The phone worked perfectly fine before I attached the new charging port Any ideas
Bad battery or bad connection of battery/board can cause this–the logic board needs to get temperature information from the battery
Replaced the battery and the issue is now solved
