Chosen Solution
Hi all, I have to re-solder the USB charging port. I need to remove the motherboard to do it properly. I have remove all visible and accessible screws, but I can’t figure out how to remove the assembly that keeps it all together at the lens’ end. I just tried to pry it open gently but I’m afraid applying more strength would break something. Nothing on the Internet for this model, so requesting help. I’ve read almost all the camcorder howtos on the site, but nothing looks like this one… Model:

Seems iFixit gave me the inspiration. I just found the way. The small frame around the lens is just glued so pry it open to uncover the screws…
I would like a video on how to open it up. Would appreciate it
