iPhone 7 home button after lcd replacement, have damaged ic U10 by shorting the button. Looking under the microscope the home button, I notice that the integrated u10 was chipped, so I replace it with a new one. the button is now recognized but the click does not go, I changed 2 Ic but without solving. on the flat home button I have all the voltage drops. What could it be ? flex damaged?
It looks like the flex sustained some damage when you removed the IC. I would double check the condition of the flex and if you have another U10 IC, try that as well.
