tablet not charging how do I know if its the charging port or the battery
@dmad1014 check your charge cable and how it it fits into the charging port. If your cable is good and your tablet shows charging if you wiggle the cable gently, you know its your port. If it does not it is most likely your battery. This only works if the port does not have any cracked solder connections etc. So the best way will be by opening up the tablet and measuring the voltages on the port contacts when you plug it in. If you get power at those it is not the port, but the battery. Either way, you have to open up your tablet. For more help on that you should tell us the exact model of your tablet.
