Hi Please verify what type of device the problem is about? You said “TV screen going black” but have selected a camera as the device type. If it is a camera or a TV then you need to provide the model number to get answers relevant to what the problem may be. If it is a camera and it is just that you cannot see anything in the LCD screen, try taking some pictures (I know you can’t ‘see" what you’re taking - try using the viewfinder if it has one) and then downloading to a computer to check if there are any pictures or just black images. At least if there are pictures it may only be a problem with the LCD screen or the LCD screen flex cable connection. If it is a TV, is it turning on and is there still sound when there is no picture on the screen?
