Chosen Solution
I actually have an A1466 model of air. A few months ago if started freezing either on startup or while your using applications, very random. I am forced to press power button to shut down and restart. On startup it will come up with symbol of folder with question mark. I have ran some test and it showed a code which talked about memory problem. Finally got a new logic board and swapped it out on the advice of an IT friend. After putting everything back to together and started up it froze again. Forced a power off and restart. On restart I received folder with question mark. My question is what next the SSD or another logic board. Suggestions please.
@mikemcglaven Mikem, try rebooting pressing option key and choose recovery partition to start the system. When you get to the options screen open disk utility and run a diagnostic to check the Ssd works properly. Might be some error with that.
