Hopefully someone else has come across this issue. When powered on the controller has a buzzing noise coming from the speaker area. It will not sync with a PS4 or Computer via bluetooth. Tried resetting the controller via the small reset button on the back, doesn’t make a difference. It works perfectly when connected via USB but the buzzing noise is still there.
For anyone with this issue, it turned out it was an incredibly good fake controller. Weight was nearly identical, everything looked legit but on disassembling it it was clearly a fake. If you have the same issue your controller serial number is also likely 11201371012310 - turns out lots have the same serial number.
