MODEL NO =UA58TU700K Hi..guys i got problem with my smart tv samsung..when i switch on my tv is its switches on and off it shows blue and black and the power button keeps on blinking.then i took it to the tv repairer and he told me is the mother board that is not functioning…so now i need your advice on this its really the mother broad or the power supply that is not working because when i switch it on the red light start blinking what’s your take on this please help
@marantzaa we will need to know the exact model for your TV. Remember that it is the main board that tells the power board to turn things on. The powerboard basically turns on and functions when it is in standby mode, as shown by the light on the power LED. A quick test would be to disconnect the main board from the board. If the backlight turns on then it is pretty likely that the power board is okay. Again, we need more information about your model to make sure, but for now, yes, it could be a main board issue.
