Hello! I am new to computer parts swapping. My 2010 macbook pro suffered water damage a while back (thanks to the cat) I got a 2008 model to salvage the hard drive and have a laptop back, without throwing down too much money. Any suggestions on other parts I might try swapping into my 2008 from the 2010? With amateur skill level of course. Or should i just stick to the hard drive. Thanks
What is the sizes of your two drives? I would leave/install the larger drive into the system and then use an external case to hold the other drive. What are the memory modules your two systems have? Both systems support a maximum of 8 GB of RAM so you can install 2x 4 GB of 1066 MHz PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM.
