Hello, So this mac has no problems, but I want to swap the Logicboard with the one of a Mid 2011 Mac Mini so I can have an i5 or an i7 and thunderbolt (I need thunderbolt more than a i processor). Can someone tell me where to buy the motherboard and will it work?
Simple answer is no. Your best bet is to trade in your current Mini on the purchase of a new Mini and then you will have the bells, whistles and a warranty. Even better would be to sell your old Mini–you would get more for it.
