MacBook Pro 15" Retina Early 2013 Is it possible to put a completely different logic board into the machine? I don’t want to repair (again) the old logic board and I am suffering of GPU panic as soon as the logic board switches from integrated to discrete. I tried repairing one time and the problem is still present (less frequent). My question: can I purchase a new logic board (Late 2013? Mid 2014?) and put one of them in the laptop? The Late 2013 logic board seems to be similar but I am not sure: is still costing 500 USD or more so I don’t want to risk the money. Thanks

Unfortunately not. 2012/early 2013 is different to late 2013/2014. From memory, the camera cable is different, headphone jack is different, trackpad may be different, battery too and the board is a different shape too.
