I have a broken iphone 6 except mabye the logic board. I want the data from logic board. Can I put the logic board in another iphone 6 for data extraction. Will swapping board erase data for some reason. I read something about the home button key needing to stay with logic board it came with or there would be complications. I do not know if this is true. I have access to another iphone 6. Thank you for the help.
@haftown you heard right about the home button. It is paired with the IC’ on the original logic board. Yes you can use the logic board in another case, but I do not see the reason why you would. The logic board essentially is the phone. Any of the other peripherals would be easier to swap to your phone. You may want to expand on that idea a bit .
