Chosen Solution
Pretty straight forward, the title says it all. This is also the first time this has happened to me, ever. Right, so my optical drive doesnt have a cd/dvd inserted and it is stuck so in other words, i cant get a cd/dvd inserted. Anyone had this problem before hand?
Go into Application > Utilities > Terminal and type drutil eject hit return
