Hello! My ps4 pro console is turning off suddenly after a long gameplay. My internal fan is quiet and when i play it’s a little loud, but not very. I disassembled the console and clean out the dirt and replace the paste, but it’s turn off after half a day gameplay. When the console turn off i hear one click sound (relay in the psu?) The top of the console and the bottom of the console is really hot. My question is: Psu can overheat? Psu can sense overheating? Psu replace can solve this problem? Update (09/15/2020) We try to repair it firstly. I uploaded some photos.
Hi! Yeah, I think the PSU needs to be replaced. You already replaced the thermal paste and removed dust etc, right? I would try to replace the PSU and see what happens.
