Are there any alternatives substances to the IFIXIT Adhesive Remover? Can I just use a bit of acetone and gently pry it up? I’m mid project and I’d like to be able to finish it without having to order the adhesive remover and wait for it to arrive.
iFixit uses acetone. Personally, I use a more dangerous pure alcohol, Methanol. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methanol A gallon lasts me about ten years.
