Chosen Solution
1 Despite my taping and labelling, I have inserted the longer screws into the battery connector cover. Now they won’t come out. I need to order the proper screws and get these out as the phone cover won’t snap on. Ah, adventures as a novice! Still cheaper and as much fun as a new phone. #2 Part of my digital cable connector split when I was too hurried taking the cover off of my phone to change the battery. I’m assuming that if I buy the $39 cover piece, I’ll be back in business? We learn by our mistakes, and I’m definitely moving up here!
by “Digital Cable,” Are we speaking of the flex ribbon? if so, for the screen? the battery? The Camera Flex? if you have damaged one of these Flex Ribbons, then replacing the attached component will fix the problem, as they come manufactured to the corresponding part. As for the Screws, https://www.amazon.ca/Complete-Replaceme… if the screw is sticking out a bit, a good pair of needlenose should do the trick. be careful not to muck up the board when making the attempt.
