The system update is stopped when it reaches 60% and it shows the error code#8002F1F9. When I restarts the system, the system update starts from the beginning directly and repeats the same problem. What should I do? Please answer me fast…
I had this problem. When I took apart the PS3 to clean the dust, replace the thermal paste and hard drive, I started getting this error when trying to update. What fixed it was replacing the CMOS battery (watch battery on motherboard). From a suggestion from this guy. The CMOS battery change did the trick. I am getting error code (8002F147) on my PS3
Several possibilities:
- Bad bluetooth/WiFi card - this is easy to replace.
- Bad nor chip - this requires soldering
- Bad Hard drive - this is easy to replace.
- Try downloading the update to a USB stick and update that way.
Had this error also. I let it restart on its own a few times but still get the error. So I held the power button down till beep (PS3 shuts off), unplug the power cord from socket for a few minutes (2-3 min should be good), plug it back in to socket, press the power button, update install should start up again. Mine completed after that!
Nesesito ayuda mi ps3 no quiere actualizar me dise de a producido un error 8002F1F9
I also have this problem. I tried to update my brother’s PS3 then it got stuck at 41% and showed the same error. I don’t know how to take apart and I can’t learn how to. Have a solution? Please I need to fix it.
Error code 8002F1F9 means your bluetooth/wifi module isn’t working properly. That could mean the module, components on the module, or components connected to the bt/wifi module are faulty. Sometimes it can be fixed with a voltage regulator. I know this is an old thread but these are just suggestions/starting places for anyone that is still dealing with this. There’s no guarantee that any of this information will help you.Source for error code:https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/Error_Code…Voltage regulator potential fix:https://www.psx-place.com/threads/super-…
