Chosen Solution
A few days ago i was sleeping and my phone was on my bed, when i woke up i found my phone on the ground the the screen was dark grey. Now when i turn it on it shows the apple logo for a very few seconds and the screen turns dark grey again. When i connect my device to my computer iTunes asks me to recover my device, the problem with this is i replaced my home button and don’t have the original so if i update i may get error 53 i tried using programs like ReiBoot but no success. Anyway i could recover my device without having to update it? I’m not even sure if its on recovery mode or maybe something unpluged when it dropped what could prompt it into going into DFU mode? I need help ASAP
Hmm. Probably not the u2ic. Have you backed up the phone recently? Either through iTunes or, through iCloud? You should be able to restore to one of those options. However with iCloud, you’d likely have to restore to the newer iOS first. What happened with your original button? You don’t possibly still have it, do you?
No the phone is already dead, since it already fell into recovery mode and you don’t have the original home button. Only Apple can fix it now, if they are willing to.
