Chosen Solution
ill be as brief as possible. my problem is a little unique so this is why I cant do some of the solutions ive found for this surprisingly not so rare glitch. My phone died and when I charged and turned it back on it was on the connect to iTunes to restore or what ever. I have years of data on this device and I refuse to lose it. My memory on it is basically at max I thought I couldn’t get the update but just now as I’m writing this on my 7th download attempt, it seems to have gone through, my wallpaper is now gone, but the same words are on the now black screen “iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes” so that hasn’t solved anything, I’m worried now that the update may have ruined any change i had to back it up, please any input is greatly appreciated.
If it is showing “iPhone is disabled” it is highly unlikely you will be able to retrieve your data. I gather the times it didn’t update gave an error 14 or similar? You could try a program called “3utools” it has an option to restore while retaining users data. If it does and asks for your passcode you might have a chance.
