<- do you think this micro crack can be the issue ? Hi, I´ve got iphone 7 plus which was stuck on apple logo, power consumption was 0.80a and occasionaly jumped to 1.5a for a split second. I left it like that for 2 minutes to see if it will eventualy boot up. Unfortunately phone died and went to the full short after that and PMIC is extremely hot . Should this cause PMIC to fail or most probably that is some cap shorted anywhere else without the heat coming out of it ? I want to make sure before I pull anything from the board. thanks
So you removed the 4 components in the pic and it is still shorted? Even if this line was going to ground I would think the phone would still boot. Can you confirm these are the components you removed?
