So I have this ipod classic 160gb and stuck on apple logo tried everything how to unfreeze it or doing to disk mode but still doesn’t work. It won’t go on disk mode. What should I do?
natasha_iguel Try to place your iPod in diagnostics mode by following these instructions This could be a HDD issue. Get a Zif-to-USB adapter (something like this and check to see if you can access the HDD from your computer. If you can’t it’s most likely your drive. Also, make sure that teh drive is formatted for your OS. If it was previously connected and synce with a Mac it will not get recognized in Win etc. Always check/change the battery and inspect the dock connector for any corrosion, broken pins etc. Clean it wih a few puffs of compressed air.
