Won’t come out of p/saving mode, getting only 2 fast short post beeps from the start, started process of elimination, removing one part at a time, have replaced power supply, 2x4 gigs ram, cd-dvd writer, battery, has new 1tb hss drive, so in a nut shell with all I’ve done, still getting the same 2 post beeps and continuing with P of E, tried YouTube for a week, still nothing, and does not have a dedicated vid card just integrated. Someone plz help a guy out thanks Tony. Optiplex 960 sm form

Hi @punishersdogmax , What are the diagnostic lights on the back of the computer showing? Here’s a link to the Service manual, scroll down to p.139 to view the diagnostic light patterns and their meaning. Found this link, (scroll halfway down the page) which gives the beep error codes for your PC. Your particular error code is not mentioned unfortunately. Try a BIOS reset and see if that restores the PC. Here’s the procedure - Switch off and disconnect the power from the PC. Remove the coin cell battery from the motherboard (note its’ orientation so that you put it back the correct way) for about 1 minute. You may as well check the voltage of the battery while it’s out as they only last about 5-7 years. If it is low (<2.8VDC) replace it. Reinsert the coin cell battery and reconnect the power and switch on the PC and check what happens.
