Hello friends, Could someone tell me what the plastic strip wearing the Earpiece Speaker Bracket is for? I have changed some screens of iphone 6s but it is difficult to put it back in its place. It is important? What is it for? In your repairs … how do you do with it? Thank you very much
I dont know what it’s for, but most repair parts (even very good copies) the strip is too small to go back around the plate that protects the ic chips under it. I have always just cut it in half and laid it back down around the plate (rectangle metal bracket) with no issues resulting from doing this.
It’s to hold the cable in place and stop it moving around (to prevent the cable getting damaged) Although there hasn’t been any issues not using it, as the stickers on the side provide enough power to stop cable moving about.
