Hi All, I have here one iPhone 5s that dont charge and dont boot even with an charged battery. Laptop connection dont detect the iPhone or even charge it. I replaced the battery for another and he starts boot but just shows the apple logo and nothing happens. I changed the MotherBoard to another housing and same problem, no charge and no boot (Just Apple logo) There is someone with same problem? Best Regards
Sounds like the Power IC on the board itself. Also known as U2 or Tristar.
Analyses Symptoms of U2 charging logic ic failure: Fake charging - NO - No charge at All No charger detect - YES Inability to charge a stone dead battery, but can charge a partially charged battery - NO, No Charge at All Very rapid battery drain - Maybe, Cant test Heat at U2 ic chip - NO, Dont feel no Heat Auto power on at battery reconnect - No, No Auto Power Inability to restore due to dropped usb connection - Yes, no USB Connection Some subset of ‘blue screen’ problems in iPhone 5s and possibly mini retina - Yes, Sometimes Rebot after an bluescreen So what we have:

- Inability to restore due to dropped usb connection - Yes, no USB Connection
- No charger detect - YES So, i have three Symptoms of U2 charging logic ic failure, maybe really the U2 Chip, i will try to change it
