Hi: I have the issue of the title after I installed a new battery on my iPhone. Only the area with the lines or rectangles is unresponsive or with strange behaviors on the touch. Any suggestions?
Ok. So, you’ve either damaged the digitizer connector socket, or you’ve got a bad part. Replace the old part to rule out the part being an issue. While you’re in there, check the socket for damage
it might be unresponsive because the battery is used to much just like mine i had it for 3 years and at the 3rd year it was unresponsive
