kenmore 417.98702891 youtube suggested it was the coupler, but i can’t even find it. I pulled out the motor, but didn’t see it or any sign of it. machine is 20 years old. I was running a small load, drum was filled to small level. I took all items out, let it sit for a long time, still didn’t run. I can’t afford to replace it, can’t even really afford to fix it, certainly can’t afford to pay someone to come out and not be able to fix it… the dial is directly pointing to rinse. Hi @zinniab , Just verifying that the washer fills OK, agitates OK but when it comes to the rinse part of the cycle that it doesn’t drain but just buzzes, is this correct? If so it sounds like there may be a problem with the drain pump - part #43 Tub, basket and agitator Diagram Check that there is nothing jamming the pump impeller preventing it from operating correctly.
