My ipod classic wouldn’t take/hold a charge. I recently replaced the battery with a brand new one. It still will not take a charge. What else could be wrong?
tldevey1, make sure you try a different cable and a different charger. Check the dock connector for any bend/broken pins and check for debris/corrosion. If all that looks good, check the battery connector on the logic board. this series had issues with the connector breaking of the board. Other than that you may have a bad PMIC, which would most likely mean a new logic board.
