I have just replaced the Lightning Connector and Headphone Jack on my 6s Iphone. The phone still will not charge, could the battery be needing replacement now? Please help, many thanks!

The phone is actually on the second battery already, apple changed it over a year ago so I didn’t think it would be the battery. This all started after I plugged the phone in my husbands car charger( not apple charger) and after that the battery just started to deplete and I wouldn’t be able to charge the phone from that point on. I thought the damage was done to the charging port so I replaced it yesterday, but the phone is still dead. Apple store would not help me at all. So now, I’m thinking I will go ahead and change the battery again and see what happens. I’m so desperate to get this phone going to at least get my pictures out! I had no chance to back it up. Thank you very much for helping me :)

Did the battery go flat and it didnt charge after that? If that is the case the charging IC (Tristar Chip) needs to be replaced by a reputable local phone repair shop that does micro-soldering. When the chip goes faulty it does not let the phone charge flat batteries. Battery could be needing replacement luckily it’s relatively cheap and easy to replace so try that out first and see how it goes: iPhone 6s Battery Replacement iPhone 6s Battery
