I have these lines across the screen. It doesn’t flicker and they can be seen more easily on solid colors. Any chance of bad connection or is my lcd really broken? Since the lines are steady, I don’t think it’s the gpu fault… Thanks in advance!
Hook it up to an external monitor to help diagnose the issue. Let us know your results. You’ll need an iFixit precision screwdriver kit. Remove the bottom cover using the pentalobe P2 bit, then remove ribbon cables until you have unimpeded access to the logic board. You may need to remove the proprietary display connector, then reseat it. Reassemble the computer.
