Chosen Solution
My laptop does only starts when the command key is pressed for about fifthteen sec. when starting the machine. There is a discussion about this problem: http://discussions.info.apple.com/thread… I tried everything that seems possible, incl. all the tips discussed in the Link (above). BUt still. When i press the command key while starting the machine everything is fine, but if not, the machine goes out, as described in above discussion. Thank you for any suggestion that could help me solving this problem
Here is a list of all keyboard Mac commands: http://homepage.mac.com/frakes/MOSXPT/co… As you can see the Command only key is not listed. It is a modifier key. Personally I would reinstall the system. What is the history of this machine? Does it use a foreign keyboard?
