Hello, Starting my MacBook Pro only produces a partial boing, which is repeated after a few seconds over and over again. Meanwhile nothing appears on the screen, it stays black. It’s no different whether I try to start from battery power of from AC power. Connecting the power adapter gives me, at first a green light, which turns to orange after a few seconds. What might cause this problem? It was working fine until a few days ago and then suddenly this situation appeared ! Thanks for any suggestions and kind regards.

Lets dig a bit deeper here… You’ll need to open the system up and do a detailed inspection looking for any signs of liquid damage or damaged components on both sides of the logic board. If you do see something take a picture and post it here for us to see. Here’s the IFIXIT guide you’ll need to follow: MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2015 Logic Board Replacement. I’ll admit there is a lot of stuff to take off but it’s not hard. If you don’t see anything put the system back together, then lets try leaving the battery disconnected to see what the system does with the MagSafe connected. Did it react any differently when you started?
